Re: When do you find time to read?

I like reading at night, especially if I cannot get to sleep, but I also like reading when I am sad to distract myself, or when I am taking a break from my uni work. I haven't really had a lot of time to read recently, so being a part of this website has allowed me to read because it gives me an excuse (not that I need it, it's just hard to find the time to do it for my own sake at the moment)

I have to shove my reading into little corners of my day, like between classes or during car rides or during mealtimes/breaks. That's why I keep my books on my phone when I can. Then I can pull it out if I have a few minutes. It's sometimes frustrating to keep reading in starts and stops, though. I haven't had a good, long, curl up with my book, reading session in awhile.

Mostly I do it in the evening after work when all the work is done and I can take time for myself. When I know that I'm not busy and that no one will bother me, then I start reading. I do it in bed, mostly I spend 1.5-2 hours on it.
I don't have any stability in reading. Sometimes I can read 7 days in a row every day, and sometimes I don't open a book for two weeks because I don't have the time or desire.
It also happens to me that I read book after book for three months in a row, spend all my free time doing it, or in other words, go to the "book binge". And sometimes it happens that I never open a book in 3 months.

I read during the day when I am not busy but, when I am determined on reading a good book I have wanted for a long time, I read in the night because there is less distraction during that time.

I would just read in the evening because I usually have pretty stressful days with no time to read. Therefore, I prefer to end the day with something peaceful.

I try to read before going to bed or in the break between my classes. I always love reading the whole book in one flow but its not possible. I try my best to stick and remember the story every time I start it after a break.

I always have a book with me, so I can read when I'm waiting in my car for my son to get off work or while my groceries are loaded- every bit adds up.
