I love paperbacks and harbacks equally, but not having the ability to buy books like I used to, paperbacks are cheaper. Plus, something weird has been going with one of my wrist lately, so it's been harder to hold heavy ( hardbacks or weighty paperbacks ) books for long periods of time. As for e-books... I don't mind them, and certainly would be easier to have a kindle than a phone for them, but it's hard to explain that it's just not the same.

I prefer hard cover. They seem to keep in better shape, and Store and stack Easier when put away. Unless I'm laying down and reading then i prefer soft because they are lighter.

I usually like to get paperback because it is easier to handle but also I like to write notes in the margins if I feel like it was a particularly good scene or quote. I only purchase hardcover if I know I am not going to write in it and I'm going to preserve it for a long time.

I think as far as investment with books go, longevity wise, Hardcover is the way to go! I prefer Hardcover with all my books, I feel they are sturdier and easier to store than Paperbacks. Also, the spines on Hardcover books do not crack, which is always a plus.

I usually buy paperback because it’s cheaper and lighter to carry around but if I really like a title, I wouldn’t mind spending a little more for hardcovers.

I love both paperback and hardcover. I feel like it doesn't really matter until I have a new book to read often enough to feed my ever craving soul! :D

I love paperbacks. I know that you’re not supposed to fold a book or anything but I like to just hold half of the book and with hardbacks they are just big and bulky. I’ve always loved paperbacks more and honestly I don’t think that will ever change.

I like paperbacks. They just feel more comfortable when reading them.

Paperback. It's easier to hold.
I also read a lot on the Kindle app on my phone.

Hardcovers look great on the shelf, but I get the paperbacks when I can because they're cheaper.

I feel like a book is a book. Usually, hardcover books are too expensive. Unless it happens to be a really nice, usually vintage publication, I'm fine reading whichever version i happen upon. :)

I prefer hardcover because paperback will be torn easily.
