Which business "guru" do you like reading the most?

I like anything by Guy Kawasaki. His stories have that self-effacing humor that too many really successful people lack and his ethos is unlike the awful glorified laziness of Tim Ferris. I still haven't read anything by Seth Godin but it's on my list. Any other suggestions?

I used to consult Barrons, WSJ, and Vanguard. Now I dont trust any of em. They're all part of the same criminal
enterprise. They're paid to sell Wall Street.

Then read Guy Kawasaki. If Wall Street operated on his principles we wouldn't be in this predicament and America would be a prosperous nation.

That is a good question, there is so many it is hard to compile a short list. However, my favourite would probably be Anthony Robbins. Interesting vote for Seth Godin in the earlier post. I have been meaning to browse some of his work after his success with Squidoo.

There's a book by Rosa Beth Moss Kanter called "Confidence - How Organizations Choose to Fail or Succeed" and despite the ponderous title, it's a very good read that is applicable to just about anyone. It chronicles that companies and organizations that take pride in what they do and treat their people with respect thrive while those which do not invariably die a well-deserved death.
