"The Uncoupling" is a funny fable by Meg Wolitzer, that looks at domestic social changes. About how the human social interactions as we grow older, change to be unlike we ever would imagined. Two people, who once loved so easily while in their youth, now find the difficulties of sticking together. The funny part, is that the relationship is so relateable for anyone who has made it past 5 years with anyone.

If you punch in "free classics" in the search bar you will get many many pages of classics for free. Plus anything written by Frederick Douglass is free as well.

There are also many, many books that have been self published that you can get pretty cheap (mostly between 99 cents and $2.99). You can also get magazines, I get eFiction (a monthly collection of short stories) and a Cooking Magazine. I've reviewed a few of the self published books on my blog if you want to check it out before you buy any.

Anyone check out smashwords yet? They are generally cheaper and support kindle and other platforms. I found a pretty good read there called "Green Mountain Road" there and though it was rated five stars, it was free.
Also, for anyone who has ever had an addiction problem, there is a fantastic book online called "12 Steps".

On a whim I bought Common Enemy by Richard David Bach. Its a fun crime thriller about a serial killer doing his work on a cruise ship. A great airplane read for $3.

The best books I picked up for Kindle were Devin Kerins' "Aim High" series. Hysterical, action packed, couldn't put them down. For $0.99 it was a steal.

Also, Amazon has a list of the top 100 paid and top 100 free books. Many genres, current books and classics, novellas and novels are available. They update the list hourly so make sure to check the list often.

I'm reading the Nick Bracco series by Gary Ponzo. If you like FBI Thriller books. First one is Touch of Deceit for 99cents. Lee Child is another favorite of mine. I'm loving the Kindle, it has opened up a new world of authors.

Project Neptune is a really cool sci-fi book. Its about Parallel universes and the people in them are being brutally murdered and stripped of their resources by the POTUS who then turns around and sells them in our world. Two brothers are out to stop it who have an interesting connection to Neptune, the secret city under D.C where the portals are. There is a lot of interesting connections as well as trust issues. Very awesome ebook!
