According to my sources, there is no Dark Tower book this year. He has two paperbacks coming out "American Vampire Vol 1" in October 2011 and "11/22/63" in November 2011.

Meh, definitely one of his slower paced books and takes a very long time to heat up but still definitely worth reading. :D

^Its my own opinion though, you may love it.

@Bookworm, yes Ian McKellen was the best person to play the Nazi, i cant think of anyone else who could play that role, shame Brad Renfro is dead

As for the Dark Tower. Maud has kindly published the upcoming installments in the post above :D

Oh yes, King is rather protective of his Dark Tower series so it will continue in some form or other for years to come..

The Dark Tower series is underrated in my opinion, I've only seen very few people that have actually read this book in either ther Stephen King collection videos on YouTube or people I know in real life.

Although I've always wanted to, I've never quite managed to read a Stephen King book. I do like the movies though. My favorites were The Green Mile and Carrie.

I've decided I'm going to finally read some of his books. Problem is I can't decide where to begin.

Anybody have any suggestions which I should read first?

Yes, I reccommend in this order:
Carrie
Salem's Lot
The Shining
Nightshift (But that's multiple stories)
The Stand (Big book)
The Dead Zone
Firestarter
Cujo
Danse Macabre (Just a Non-Fiction story about horror.)
Roadwork
Creepshow (Comic Book)
The Dark Tower I: The Gunslinger
Different Seasons (novellas)
Christine
Pet Sematary (Hard To Understand Sometimes.)
Cycle of A Werewolf
The Talisman (Written by Peter Straubs Though.)
Skeleton Crew (multiple stories.)
The Bachman Books (novel collection)
IT (A big book like the Stand, but most enjoyable.)
The Eyes of the Dragon (Apart from a Horror.)
Misery
The Dark Tower II: The Drawing of the Three
The Tommyknockers
Nightmares in the Sky (Photo book with text.)
Dark Visions
The Dark Half
Dolan's Cadillac (limited edition)
My Pretty Pony (limited edition) Can't Get These Two anymore unless a rare copy from a past owner pops up on Ebay.
The Stand: The Complete & Uncut Edition (Only if you liked the original Stand.)
Four Past Midnight (Multiple stories)
Needful Things
The Dark Tower III: The Waste Lands
Gerald's Game
Dolores Claiborne
Nightmares & Dreamscapes (Multiple stories)
Insomnia
Rose Madder
Umney's Last Case
The Green Mile
Desperation
Six Stories (Six Stories.)
The Dark Tower IV: Wizard and Glass
Bag of Bones
Storm of the Century
The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon

Read them in this exact order for you to truly love Stephen King.
