The December Book of the Month is The House of the Dead by Fyodor Dostoevsky. I will be posting the first discussion thread for that book on December 16th.
This thread is to nominate books for January. (I want to start choosing the book earlier so that people will have more time to get the chosen book and start reading it.) I will take nominations until this Sunday. On Sunday, I will open a thread to vote on the nominations. The book that gets the most votes will be the January book of the month.
When making a nomination, please post both the title and the author of the book. Also, please limit nominations to one book per person.
