So that we can provide faster and better support, this forum (the "Public Suggestion Box") has been retired. Instead, please send any suggestions you have to us using the official website contact form.

This allows us to streamline our support system so that we can get to your message much faster. Instead of our support staff having to check three different places (support forum, suggestion box, and contact form messages), they know can respond to all message through one method, with that one method being the official website contact form.

Scott, is there any chance you can adjust the settings for making a personal avatar to increase the width and storage of the file. Presently, members have to chop and change images from Google to transfer into the forum and the end result can be a bit squashed and lopsided. Even if the settings were increased to allow slightly bigger images this would be a big help or maybe there is an easier way to transfer images from the net to the forum without so much editing? Thanks.

Mike.

Yes, I have doubled the maximum file size and increased the maximum width and height by 25 pixels each.

I like to ask a question concerning avatars. I have tried for a long time to upload mine, but it never uploads. I've checked and double checked size, etc. Is there a trick I am missing?

Your avatar looks pretty good to me. I always make sure I use JPG format.

Ok people, if you are unsure of creating an avatar, simply click the "User Control Panel" at top of the page, then "Profile" "Edit Avatar" and then either pick one of the in-built pictures that are on the site or if you are transferring over from a website (I would advise tinyurl.com), simply right click on your choosen image on the tinyurl website, select "Copy Image Location" and then Paste into "Upload from Website" option and it should transfer right over. If you are unsure throw me a PM.
