Just finished reading Gilgamesh by Stephen Mitchell, and will say this was an interesting and good read. When the time comes I will read this book again. Gilgamesh a man who thinks he can have anything he wants including women. So the GODS send someone his equal and the people notice it as well. Enkidu was sent to defeat Gilgamesh but ends up becoming his best friend and brother. These two are best friends, they will do anything for each other. When they do something the GODS do not like they punish them, by taking Enkidu away from Gilgamesh. Doing this they cause Gilgamesh to go on a quest to find out HOE ONE CAN DEAL WITH DEATH? But there is no way to dealing with death, its natural, its a part of life. Live your life to the fullest, enjoy your life, do something with it. Just live your life.
