Help me catch back up with our book of the month program and make it awesome! Wouldn't it be awesome if each month we have hundreds of people on this website reading the same book around the same time and chatting about it?!

Daphne wrote:I have read Geraldine Brooks' book March. I, too, was pleasantly surprised. I learned about what it was like to be on a war front in such a war, and a bit about what was going on politically in the background - about Ralph Waldo Emerson's writing during the war, about John Brown's effects - mostly about the Virginia war effort, and how very descriptive the book was on daily war.
This book also has some quite surprising romances going on!
