Its a chick flick, but theres no sobbing moments or anything (well there wasnt for me anyway, and i'm hormonal, so that has to say something right? haha), it was good. Its based on a true story, so they really had the concept of how her memory loss was affecting both of them as seperate people, instead of basing the entire thing on the pair of them. It was definetely worth the watch.

I watched A Few Good Men last night. It was quite good. I never cared much for Mel Gibson, but he wasnt bad in this one, altho in parts he over-acted I thought. This flick showed some of the Viet-Cong side of the story which was unusual in Viet-Nam war movies. Sam Elliott was great as the Sgt. Major. 4 out of 5.

Just finished One Day with Anne Hathaway. It wasnt bad. I tried reading the book before, and i couldnt get into it for some reason, but after watching the movie, i definetely want to give the book another cracking chance. Havent decided how i would rate it though, seeing as i just got out of a similair relationship with my best friend (not Dee..) and i'm unsure if my feelings towards the story, because of my experience, swung the vote into a good movie or a bad movie. :?

Have you seen The 25th Hour with Norton? It is one of his best performances!
IMO.

Absolutely! I loved him in Fight Club and American History X as well. He's such an amazing actor, it kills me that he's not as well known as some of the worse actors that we have now.

Took the kids to see The Avengers. Was a good movie but not the best I've seen of this type. Go the Hulk. 3.5/5

I loved him in Fight Club. To me, his character/acting was superior to even Pitt's. He was so understated and real.

Absolutely agree, Carla. :D

Watched Hesher last night. It's about an Anarchist that kind of invites himself into this kids house and family in such an odd way that no one knows how to get rid of him so they dont even bother. Honestly i'm still not sure how i felt about this movie. Joseph Gordon-Levitt did amazing, this role was completely different than anything i've ever seen him in, he did great. His acting was the best part of the entire thing (Except for the hair, God that was bad.). But as i said, i'm not sure how i felt about it. It took 45 minutes to get use to the movie itself.

You're right, Din3. My mistake. Ive seen both, got them mixed up. I had what they call a senior moment.

I watched Sense and Sensibility last night. Good show. Ive never read the book, I dont know how accurate the movie was compared to it, but the movie was enjoyable. It had Hugh Laurie in a small part, he played a cynical likeable jerk like his House character.

Ironic isnt it. Mel Gibson was born in the US. His father moved the Gibson family to Australia in the 60's,to make sure
none of his sons would ever have to serve in Vietnam. Wonder what Gung Ho Mel Gibson thinks of his father now.
As far as I know, I'm the only one in my fraternity that went to Nam. One guy I graduated from high school was KIA
in 1966. We were friends. He joined USMC with another guy I knew. I found the guys name on Facebook 2 years ago.
I called him up and we shot the breeze. We talked about Don, our friend who had died. I told him I was there 9/68-4/69.
I asked him when he was there. His answer: He played for the USMC Golf Team for four years. The only time he left the States was to golf on a US Military Base in Europe. This guy used to be a COMPLETE thug. You could have knocked me over with a feather!!!
