My Father took my brother and I to see High Noon on my sixth birthday. I've never forgotten the movie or
its message. At the time, I was struck by the similarites between my Father and the actor who played the lead.
Over time, however, I learned there was a big difference between what actors did (talk the talk) and what my
Father had done(walk the walk).

Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels. I once met Clayton Moore. My wife had the hots for him, and he was staying in a hotel-cocktail lounge in Salt lake. My wife's sister worked in the cocktail lounge, and she said Moore would come in the lounge every night to have a drink. We went there and my sister-in-law introduced us, he shook hands with us , talked for a minute or two then left. My wife was in hog heaven, she wasnt back to normal for a week.

Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels. I once met Clayton Moore. My wife had the hots for him, and he was staying in a hotel-cocktail lounge in Salt lake. My wife's sister worked in the cocktail lounge, and she said Moore would come in the lounge every night to have a drink. local stuff to fill up empty time spots. The last time I watched (2008, got rid of my TV that year)they broadcast
a homeowners meeting with his neighborhood discussing HOA business. There's FL(with dyed beard and hair)
He lives in the Scotch 80's, probably the nicest neighborhood in LV. A friend of mine bought a house he owned
in the 60's. Lots of stars bought in that neighborhood including Sid Caesar, Elvis, Jerry Lewis, Rich Little. Wayne
Newton lives near me. He's got peacocks. Sometimes at night caretakers walk them around the perimeter of his estate.
Ever heard one cry. Bloodcurdling. Wonder what happened to Clayton Moore. Maybe he's growing onions inUtah. TTYL

Clayton Moore died a few years ago. He was involved in a legal thing where he couldnt wear The Lone Ranger mask at public appearences. Dont know how it ever came out. I went through LV about a year ago, its really grown. I guess they tore down all the old casinos. Dont blame you for dumping TV, its mostly crap anymore. I havent had it for over three years and I dont miss it. But back to the topic, remember this one? I remember those. I dont have any idea who won it in 1960. Ive got a record by Lester Lanin, The Madison Avenue Beat, that has those old commercials on it. Oasis cigarettes, Bryllcreme, Mr. Clean, 56 in all. Heres one.

The Olympic Decathlon Champion in 1960 was Rafer Johnson. Johnson got into acting
after that. In fact, Kirk Douglas offered him a role in Spartacus. It was before the 1960
Olympics and would have changed Johnson's amateur status, so he turned it down.
