Hi everyone--
My friends and co-workers seem to be always talking about some community or other -- the gaming community, even the lego community (they're called bricks not legos), etc. I finally realized that my community is the reading community, but I don't know too many fellow readers, so here I am! Why didn't I think of this sooner?
I enjoy a wide variety of genres. I'm currently slogging through James Joyce's 'Ulysses' (the greatest English language novel ever written--or so they say). I've looked it up here on this forum and am glad to see that I am not the only one who finds it very tough going. But I also read the 'Twilight' series because I have friends and family who LOVED these books. A lot easier to read than 'Ulysses', but... I want to meet people who enjoy a little more substance in their books.
My two favorite recently-discovered authors are Lisa Unger and Gillian Flynn. And there are tons of other authors that I love. I can't wait to explore the topics here and find someone to chat with about them!
