In addition to the readings of my master's degree in history, I finished to read now "Do the androids dream of electric sheep?" , and I began to read "Frankenstein". I'm in the mood for sci-fi rigth now.

Loved "Do androids dream of electric sheep?" There was a film based on this which was also good. Can't recall the name.

The name of the film I'ts Blade Runner with Harrison Ford. It is a little different from the book but it is also interesting, mainly because of the discussion around the implants of memory, which leads us to reflect on our own memories as a product of individual and social construct. On the other hand, there’s no presence in the movie of the animal's cult who is so important in the book for the development of metaphor about the natural / unnatural character of the human condition.

I'm reading Lindbergh's Artificial Heart. It's a collection of unusual non-fiction stories. It's sort of like Ripley's Believe It or Not but with more detail. Some of the stories are very interesting.

The 3rd Alternative (NF) by Stephen Covey. Fairly interesting theory.

Paris Without End: The True Story of Hemingway's First Wife

Very interesting and well-written biography of Hadley Richardson, Ernest Hemingway's first wife. This book would be of little interest to anyone not familiar with the "lost generation" period (the Parisian left bank scene of the 1920s). But for those who are it provides an extraordinary and factual presentation of a woman whose story has been MIS-told countess times by Hemingway's heirs and heretofore influenced by their own personal opinions and interests. I would STRONGLY recommend this totally unbiased and factual book to anyone interested in E. Hemingway's work or life.

Hi Gannon, interested to hear your views on Oscar and Lucinda. Have you seen the movie too?

Howdy Redlegs. I really enjoyed "Oscar and Lucinda". I loved the two main characters and the ending. I plan on watching the movie soon to see how it compares. :D
