Scripture Relief: Anxiety and Fear

There was no warning. At the time, I had no solution, inexplicable fear and anxiety in my heart overwhelmed my entire being. So I would turn to the Bible but not any where to start or even where to look. I would use pointing and praying hoping that the passage my finger landed on would be the answer to my troubles.
Andrew O’Donnell, author of Scripture Relief: Anxiety and Fear, describes the Bible as the book that eventually brought him solace from constant panic attacks finding ancient passages relevant to any stressful experience today and how he discovered that the Old and New Testament could heal his modern pain. While becoming a seasoned reader of the Bible, Andrew realized that many who took on the Bible as a daily reading assignment found that they where frustrated with its ancient text.
So Andrew created Scripture Relief: Anxiety and Fear; a collection of biblical passages that can address any attitude. Chosen passages are associated with the author’s contextual messages that help guides others through loneliness, adversity, fear, desperation as well as in the search for faith, love, joy and comfort.
You can leaf through the passages and find almost anything you need for any situation. One excellent example listed in Scripture Relief: Anxiety and Fear is calming the restless mind; a characteristic that Andrew points toward the appropriate scripture: “When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. (Proverbs 3:24). Following the scripture, the author expresses the modern application. Not only does he define a detailed description of God and his great intentions but Andrews’s sincere attempt to assist others is beautifully written.
Scripture Relief: Anxiety and Fear by Andrew O’Donnell can be purchased at Amazon; a must read for all those who feel that fear, anxiety and failure is not an option.
