You talked me into it Carla. I'm curious to find out what this story is all about too. Have not seen the movie, nor do I know very much about the plot. I just reserved it from my library. I am #364 of 16 copies [:-( .... I'll give you my report on it .... in about a year and a half (kidding). I am currently #12 of 17 "holds" on The Spellman Files and figure I should have it in about a week or two. By the time I finish it Hunger Games should be getting close to being available.

I'm not even half way through We Were the Mulvaneys and part of me cannot put it down, whereas the other part of me wants to put it down and never pick it up again. Her voice is so unique. I love it. I'm drawn in before I even read a page, and yet, I don't want to know what I already have guessed in the back of my mind. Ill save a final verdict for when I'm finished. Mostly because I have no idea how I feel about it.

I await your final verdict in fear and trepidation

Just a few chapters in...but very well written so far and engaging so far...

Am reading A Dogs Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron. Never read this type of book before. It's narrative is told by a dog. A
Friend suggested it and at first thought I wouldn't care for it at all. To my surprise I'm finding it a delightful story.

Hahahaha, Hi Laura_Timmins, just had to post to say that your avatar is my favourite of all time. It's a classic. We have a little dog that looks almost identical but she only has the brown over her right side. She is only three and is just starting to read.

My Current reads are Patricia Cornwell's The Body Farm ( areread) and Jodi Picoult's Nineteen Minutes. I'm a little slow off the mark in regards to Jodi Picoult as Nineteen Minutes is my first foray into sphere.

I am currently reading Stiff:the curious lives of human cadavers by Mary Roach extremely interesting if you like that kind of
Thing.

And have just finished the Hot Zone by Richard Preston which I really enjoyed certainly gives you a lot to think about!
