Yeah, my vote goes out for Barbara Streisand too. She's really put's heart and soul into every song she sings.

ok so since everyone is a britney fan, .... let me enlighten you all... Brithney Spears has an ok voice, but she's not the best in the world, her stuff is usually a studio creation, and she's mostly theatrical.... and you can't just pick one greatest singer of all time, because there are too many to choose from.... the ones that you would call best singer in the world are the ones with the close to or almost perfect voice, and the attitude to go with it.... christina aguilera, and Kelly Clarkson come to mind at the moment, but there are so many more i could name.... Mariah Carey, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Bob Segar, Michael Jackson, Hilary Duff, Whitney Houston (RIP)... ect.....

Van Morrison. Also Ireland's greatest poet.

Eddie Dean was one of my favorites, no one probably ever heard of him, he made B western movies back in the 40's. He wrote some of Tex Ritter's songs. He had a fantastic voice, even Roy Rogers and Gene Autry admitted he was a better singer than they were.
