My vote goes with Stephen King .... 11.22.63 is s fantastic read IMO

^ I second that, Fran, easily the best book I read in 2011 and one of King's best ever works. A book just made for debate and discussion. :D

Tough choice, there are two that looked interesting. 11.22.63 is on my to read list, and I have heard some good things about this book.

Skippy dies and Stephen King's are both on my "To Read" list... but I guess I will go with the majority and vote for 11.22.63

I hope 11.22.63 gets it because it looks like more people have read it since my original thread at Christmas which should make for a more varied and interesting discussion :D

I have a quick question as I'm new here. The book of the month is chosen for us to read for April, yes? And also discuss?

I love King and that one is on my list.

Btw, he lives here and has a summer home here. Oftentimes, you will see him in a coffeeshop or even at the bookstore. If I do run into him, I will let you all know.

Thats right you vote now and its then the discussion book for the April book of the month.

Wow, i would love to run into him in a shop just like that, wouldnt know what to say though ha :shock:
