I'm a fast reader. and it also depends on the book. if i loved it, i find myself going faster..hurrying up to know what will happen.

I must say that I agree with much of what has been said so far. I would add that occasionally when re-reading a book I love, I'll read it as slowly as possible to savor every moment. Particularly when the story doesn't end well, and I want to enjoy the happiness that comes before the pain.

Totally depends on the book. And which combination of ~1000 possible distractions I've got going on around me at the time.
How perfectly goddamned delightful it all is, to be sure.

Just finished another great book in one day. I have never been that fast of a reader, but the past few books I have read, I can't get enough of.

My eyeballs would fall out of my head if I even attempted to read that much! Not including work-related reading...I've never tried to figure out how much that'd translate to in "fun" reading; it'd just depress me.
How perfectly goddamned delightful it all is, to be sure.

Wow, you can certainly manage your time well! Im very lucky to get a book read in a week or two, unless its a King book at which point my reading seems to increase tenfold.

You only live once.....so live!

I would love to be able to read that much. How do you do it? How do you find the time?

If you are not having fun......then what is the point.

I tend to read mystery/thriller novels in 5-7 days. Fantasies, because they are longer, tend to take me around 10 days. A non-fiction book, though will usually take me at least 2 weeks.

For me it depends on the book. Some books I can run through, others take a lot longer.

Typically it takes me 1 or 2 days to read a book. Sometimes longer. It all depends on how good the book is and what else is going on. Oh yeah and how often I log on the computer.
