I believe social network have great power to make any website be famous at one night. But the first thing is you must have great content to attract visitors to stay in your website.

Hi.

I've been here for a week and I have to thank you, Scott, for these amazing forums. I haven't joined many in the past. When I do, sometimes, they are lacking in a diverse group of people, ages and also interests. Some smart conversing, some light chit chatting. Also, such a great deal of respect for others here. What I love about this forum is you have such a great mix of brilliant individuals. Where topics range from books, to writing. I stumbled on it and found a wonderful place.

Months ago, I started writing for an Arts Blog here in Sarasota. In between, painting. . . I started writing again. It's a blog and we get lots of exposure. Everything from the theater, gallery events, orchestra, ballet. I interviewed those who I worked with in television production (set design), Sound design on Broadway, Richard Butler of the Psychedelic Furs on his paintings, Design in packaging, etc. I recently decided, there was a need for articles on writing (interviewing playwrights, etc) discussion of literature, and books. We get lots of hits locally, as well as nationally. I would love to include this forum in an article I do later, if that's okay with you. If and when I do, I will make sure to send you the link or post. I better check with Scott, as I am sensitive here and don't want it to be spam.

It's been great as I can write on topics I have had experience in over many years in the arts. Especially now, for me as I want to showcase reading. My next one may be on Literacy Programs (including one in Sarasota).

^ It would be great if the forum was mentioned and got some exposure and new members but i hope you stick around afterwards, there area lot of 'fly by night' forum members who run when their link is out there so it would be nice if some of them became regular members

Oh, no. I'm staying here. It just dawned on me about the article. But, that was not my main reason for joining. It was just to flourish the love of books and writing. I have never been a forum person. A couple, but then not many would participate much in great topics, etc. I have been blown away here and also such good people. I have learned so much and loved the conversations here. From just daily chit chats and visiting to some great conversing on books. Also, it helps because I have re discovered my love again for great fiction and there are so many suggestions here!

I agree. I have discovered a couple of new (new to me) authors, just on account of reading other members' comments.

I can try and help with my Facebook and twitter page. I'm really happy that I joined, I haven't been on here very long but everyone is really nice and helpful. I always wanted to find a place where I can talk about books. Thanks Scott for creating this forum.
