One of my favorites is Battle Hymn Of The Republic by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. It really makes your hackles rise.

Is it wrong to actually like some of the Glee songs? I have heard a few of their remakes of popular songs and a few of them arent bad...the kind of not bad that would have me on a dancefloor after a few drinks but for now ill keep it safely in me head....

The Tabernacle Choir makes some fantastic music. To really appreciate them you need to hear them in person in the Mormon Tabernacle on Temple Square in Salt Lake. That place is said to have the most perfect acoustics of any hall in the world, even though it was built in the 1800's. Ive heard them there a few times, it is an awesome experience.

I like 90s hip hop and various forms of heavy metal, ranging from classic NWOBHM, 80's and 90's thrash, death metal, black metal, and grindcore. Good stuff. 8)

What's out there, metal-wise, these days? The closest thing I'm probably familiar with (unless Rob Zombie counts) is Mindless Self Indulgence...my daughter's an MSI addict.
How perfectly goddamned delightful it all is, to be sure.

I really don't know. The last time I was into "metal" was when Korn, Mudvayne, Slipknot, System of the Down, Hatebreed, ect ect was big. Don't keep up with new stuff. Just like the classics. White Zombie was a band I liked as well.

After a weekend of garage rock (four bands--cassette and CD release), I'm ready for some Bessie. Once my hearing comes back...

What did everybody honestly think of Madonna's Superbowl half time show?

Hey there Ant. Imho it was alot better than some of the last couple of half time shows. It was entertaining but the lip syncing was a bit disappointing. I don't know what it would have been like if she sang live. :D
