I'd like to nominate Death comes to Pemberley by P D James ..... interesting to see what a mystery writer can do with the Jane Austin classic while maintaining the integrity of Austin's characters.

I really do hope I can get that book soon! I'm 23rd in line at the library - loong reservation list. It's better than my sister who lives in Canada, I mentioned it to her - she also loves Jane Austen...she's 699 in line!!  Very popular book!

For myself, I'd love to nominate We need to talk about Kevin by Lionel Shriver. Controversial issues which I think would make for an healthy debate.

"Quo Vadis," by Henryk Sienkiewicz. It's about the rise of Christianity in Rome during the reign of Emperor Nero, and was a significant factor behind Sienkiewicz winning the Nobel.

I realize my nomination will be out of the ordinary but I did want to read it before its movie comes out. For the March 2012 book of the month I nominate Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion its an untraditional love story.

I would like to nominate The Forgotten Waltz by Anne Enright. Her writing style is a bit different but I find it very hypnotic. It gives us a real feel of what it is like to be in a completely dysfunctional relationship.
