I found the story line very realistic and would recommend it for anyone who has been hurt in love and was able to survive and move on. Very well written too.

This book seems to have too low of an Amazon sales rank to qualify. How did you come across it?

Gobberz1990 wrote:I would like to recommend 'Guns of the South' by Harry Tutledove. It is an Alternative History set during, the American Civil War. It involves real and imagined characters. It also, as you will see from the book cover, an AK-47 which as you can imagine, does not belong in that time so, in that vein, involves time travel though, this is not the central aspect of the story. I would highly recommend this read, as it is well written, has excellent characters, a good story between a man and woman (a love story that eventually happens) and some great action. Even thought the AK-47 does not belong, it really works.
This book is too old. Please see restrictions in the first post.

For the next book of the month I nominate Vaccinated: One Man's Quest to Defeat the World's Deadliest Diseases by by Paul A., M.D. Offit. I posted a review(ish) on the specific book forms but I have to nominate it. It really is just that good of a book and I believe that more people should read it. I've read it three times and I'm probably going to read it again very soon. Great book!

I would just like to share something i think i need to say to all my booksonline fellow club members like my self. I have been reading books avidly since i was fourteen years old,i am forty five now. I guess you can imagine the amount of books ive read throughout the years. I decided to become a book collector in my thirtys,my personal boocollection is in the hundreds only because i only add books to it,only after i read the book and determine that its worthy of becoming a part of the Reyes book collection. Well one afternoon not long ago i went to the salvation army Store around the córner from where i live here in the Bronx, anyway as soon as i got into the Store i went to the book section ,i immediately was looking at a book that caught my eye,the books was titled The Winner by David Baldacci. I bought the book home,i started reading this book and this book was so good that i was up for two nights without sleep so i could finish it. This book is one of the best books i have ever read or added to my book collection. Its a thriller like no other,it has suspense it keeps you guessing til the end,you just wont be able to put this book down until you are finished reading it.
