This book really opened my eyes to aspects of World War 2 that I had not considered before. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Book covers are often what draws me to a story!

Nice, insightful review! The book doesn't seem like my cup of tea, but I like that you weren't able to predict different parts of the plot.

Great review. I'm not really into historical fiction myself, but after reading your intriguing review, I am definitely recommending it to my sister who absolutely loves history. Thank you.

Great review. I love a good thriller and especially one that follows a event in history. Congratulations to the author on writing such an intriguing story.

A Japanese spy, who has bipolar disorder, a mysterious teacher, and a geisha whose lives are intertwined sounds? Sounds like an interesting tale! It's interesting to know that they are all affected by Pearl Harbor in one way or the other. I bet it's also interesting to know about their post-war lives. Curious of what mysteries begin to unravel once they reach back to Hawaii. I'm glad you were able to enjoy this read of mixed genres and that you found the author was able to portray "excellent historical background" here! Thank you for sharing!

Whew! This sounds fascinating! I have read much about WW2, but nothing really about Pearl Harbor or the Japanese perspective.

Thank you for the review. I am not too into history or wars, so if I were to read this it would be great to have some background information. It is great that this provided continual intrigue for you and held your attention throughout the book.

This book sounds like good read. I do see that it is on Amazon (kindle). Maybe not your format of choice, but it is the only way I read books anymore.

Awesome review! It really sounds like this book blends history and excitement and surprise in WWII era Japanese culture.
