Mine were always on the depressing side because I was expressing my emotion. Sadly, I haven't written any poetry in a while.

My poetry is usually a surreal expression of events that have affected me in my lifetime. Sometimes, I write about the past too. But for the most part my poetry is kind of sad and scary.

My poems tend to be gloomy. I like to cry a little as I write and it helps me unleash how I feel.

My poems are a bit of a mixture of everything in life! Some are a bit taboo others are about love others about my feelings and thoughts!

My poetry tends to lead towards the darker, more emotional side. Otherwise I don't tend to have the proper inspiration to write.

Mine are usually very depressing but some of them have a bit of optimism in them.
However, I've been trying to focus a lot on social justice issues but most of them just come out violent mainly because the topics I focus on are violent (human trafficking, police brutality, etc) and I am also trying to make a lot of my poems very positive to empower people <3

Usually deep and dark with splashes of sunshine, if that makes sense. They usually start somewhat depressing (I usually write as an outlet) and then I sprinkle some happiness in (as I start to unwind from whatever got me writing in the first place).

My poems are usually sad. I just can't write stuff unless I'm feeling so down that I'd rather pour it out on ink rather than actually talk about it with people. But I'm trying to work on writing a much more lighthearted ones.
