I love "Always and Forever" by Heatwave. Also, consider "Endless love," by Lionel Richie and Diana Ross.

Have you heard the song, "We are the World, We are the Children?" All the singers who participated were great, and so was the music. :D

I do not know if it was mentioned before, but "Kiss from a Rose" from Seal is quite a great song, is it not? ;)

I really, really, REALLY, REEEEEEEEEALLY like the song, "Turning Page" by Ryan O'Neal. I think it was perfectly placed where it was used in "Twilight: Breaking Dawn, Part 1."

That's what I thought when I heard it first, and I get lost in it every time I hear it now. Another song I liked, which has a little more of an off-the-wall quality about it by comparison, :D is "From Now On" by The Features. Don't ask me why... I'm still trying to figure that out...

I really like The Girl by City and Colour. I think it's really nice and the lyrics are well-written.

Vera Lynn was one of the greatest singers of all time. She was made made a Dame a while back for her work entertaining the troops during WW2. She is in her 90's now and still does charity work. She also did a killer version of Amazing Grace with no instrumental accompniment. Just her fantastic vocal. Even her unusual Dead Hampster song is good in a weird sort of way.

I'm not a great fan of musicals but I think "I Remember it Well" from Gigi is an awesome love song
- "It warms my heart to know that you
remember still the way you do ... "

I was raised in NYC in the fifties, a great era for musicals, I saw them all........btw, my 1st husband who was French was a dead ringer for Louis Jordan...I almost fainted from hearing his voice the first time w/that sexy accent....
