I listen to Bach or Beethoven. Orchestral or solo playing, I don't really have a preference.

I don't usually listen to music while reading, I can have music on but get so immersed in the book I couldn't tell you what had been been playing when it had finished !

I'm not sure why, but I've always liked to have R.E.M playing in the background when I write.

When I write (or in most cases draw) I usually turn on some Bright Eyes.
Connor Oberst has an amazing voice. The songs are usually a bit slow, and mellow. They inspire me and put me in the mood to create

Whenever I have to write a paper I can listen to any type of genre of music and it helps me stay focused.

You know, It never occurred to me to write and listen to music at the same time..
I've just never done it that way, I'll definitely try this out.

Im not a writer, but while reading I like Celtic music.
"I planted some birdseed. A bird came up. Now I dont know what to feed it." Ramblings of a retired senile mind.
