Dylan Thomas, John Donne; Love, Sex & Metaphysics

Post by Cas Greenfield »

I have walked upon Dylan's beloved 'Heron-Priested Shore' at the edges of the claustrophobic streets that inspired Under Milk Wood. I have marvelled at the screamed gargoyles of St. Paul's Cathedral where Donne was Dean.

Both poets inspire me, both write in a visceral, sensual manner that evoke eroticism, though centuries apart.

Is this the force that lies behind all writing?

Would love to hear your thoughts.
