I have always loved this song by Johnny Ace.....Pledging my Love.

It makes the hair on my arms stand up when I hear it.

I havent heard Pledging My Love for a while. Great song by a great talent. Too bad he blew his brains out.

I heard one earlier that tickled me. Rabbits Dont Ever Get Married by Hank Penny.

I liked Rex Allen's version of Streets of Laredo where he sings it in two octaves.

Yul Brenner was a classic, thats for sure.

Ive been listening to a CD someone gave me yesterday, marches by Arthur Fiedler and The Boston Pops. Good wake-up music. They do a killer version of The Guadalcanal March from Victory At Sea.

Ive been listening to some old Roy Rogers recordings. He was a great singer highly underrated I think. Moonlight And Roses, The Wedding Song, Hoppy Gene And Me, Celito Lindo and who can forget the classic Kid With The Rip In His Pants.

I had an autographed photo of Roy Rogers . When I was a little kid my aunt took me to a rodeo in the Philadelphia area where he participated. I still remember him autographing the photo for me. Unfortunately, the photo has disappeared.

Agree, Roy was a very good singer. There were many great cowboy singers back in those days. Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, Tex Ritter, Rex Allen, Jimmy Wakely, etc.
