Thats cool. Another underrated cowboy singer from back then was Eddie Dean. Roy and Gene even admitted he was a better singer.

Ive been listening to some Benny Goodman live broadcasts from the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York from 1937. Great stuff from the King Of Swing.

I'm planning to do a little Moulin Rouge kick for a while, and I'm really looking forward to listening to their version of "The Show Must Go On".

MUSIC I love this thread... I try and listen to music every second of every day. Mostly indie and remixs... Songs with amazing bass and still have a great meaning. One of my favorite songs right now is TRNDSTTR By blackcoast (Lucian remix). And All we do by wonder. If you are a indie fan i would definitely check the later. :D

Ive been listening to Charlie Feathers. He was one of the original rock and roll artists from the 50's. When I first heard him, I didnt really like him but after hearing him a while I decided he was pretty good. He had a different style, probably a lot of people wouldnt like his style its different thats for sure.

He did some pretty good stuff. What surprised me is that before he did soft romantic music he did old time New Orleans style jazz.

This is a small band called Hop Along that I saw in my college town. I can't really explain what makes their music so infectious, but I think it has something to do with the throat-ripping vocal ballet. It's confessional and intensely powerful and it makes me giddy, if giddy is the right word. They just released a new album a few months back which is scoring high in the charts, so now's prime time to check 'em out.
