I usually go for suggestions from friends, or bands similar to ones I already like, It's how I found my favorite band so far (steam powered giraffe)

I tend to not only use Pandora or I Tunes, but I love typing in music on Facebook and seeing what pops up. Its fun to see what will appear. I am also a bit old school and listen to the radio, even with the dreaded commercials.

As strange as it seems, I look to MAPs or AMVs on Youtube! Even if I don't follow the content in the video, the song is usually one I haven't heard before that sounds very good! If not there, then I look to the Daily Mixes/Discover Weekly's on Spotify! :-)

Pandora works wonders when trying to find new music!
I also go on spotify and look at their radios and playlists. It also doesn't help to ask other people what their favorite music is!

Pandora. Definitely, the place I go to find something new and/or different to listen to. Sometimes Spotify on the playlists of some of my favorite artists that post what they are listening to. Apparently, they have access to music that might be a little harder for me to find. Haha!

I find new music by listening to my family and friends music. I have also found different kinds of music by listening to the radio and scanning the stations. You would be surprised about the music showing g up.

On Spotify, I check and see if one of my favorite artists has their own radio station, and I find music related to theirs through the radio. I know not many people may not listen to the radio, but I suggest you use it if you ever need to find new music.

I use Pandora or Amazon prime music by selecting different genre stations. I also go some of my favorite radio websites to see what bands they play & read about those bands discography. Sometimes I'll find out that a favorite singer or band has side projects or are producing other bands and will search for those.

Before Spotify, I would look up random bands in my favorite genres and then start listening to them and let YouTube take me further into the similar results. Likewise, I would play a random radio station as background music and if there was something I liked, I would look it up.
Now, with Spotify, I check my daily mix and see if there's something I like, also I check the radio station of my favorite bands because they play similar artists.

I'm not into music channels or music videos. I honestly find out about new music via movies or TV shows I watch.

I use Spotify or I ask friends what they like and give it a chance. Radio is also a good idea.

I discover new music by listening to the radio or someone recommending a new song to me.

I discover new music by hanging out with friends and new acquaintances.
