Though he did have other fairly successful songs, Terry Jacks is still only mainly remembered for 'Seasons in the Sun', which is still my favourite version and still makes me cry!!

Latest Review: Island Games by Caleb J. Boyer

Who remembers the movie That Thing You Do? For those who don't, it's about a band called The Wonders, who basically end up as one-hit wonders (the title of the movie is their big song). Anyway, after the release of the movie in the mid-nineties, the title song ended up on the Top 40 and was played constantly for a couple of months. What most people don't know is that the title track was not performed by the actors who played The Wonders, but by another band known as The Candy Butchers. Coincidentally, that song ended up being a one-hit wonder for the Candy Butchers!
