My folks listened to the Eurythmics quite a bit when I was growing up, so I've been acquainted with Annie Lennox's voice since I was very young. I had a copy of her Medusa album when I was in middle school, too. I used to replay "No More I Love You's" and "Whiter Shade of Pale" all the time!

But my absolute favorite Annie Lennox song is "Into the West" from the Lord of the Rings movies. I saw her perform it on television two days after my grandfather passed away, and it always makes me cry.
