That stupid "California Girls" song by Katy Perry. Most of her stuff is garbage, but this one tops them all. Sounds like a chimpanzee wrote the lyrics.

I agree wholeheartedly! I also hate The Cheeky Girls and 50 Cent :)

The song out right now that I absolutely cannot stand is Trumpets by Jason DeRulo. I normally don't listen to those stations but when I'm in the car with my mom or brother I always end up hearing it. It is one of the worst songs I have ever heard.

This time of year I really hate the song about "Last Christmas I gave you my heart, but the very next day you gave it away..." I don't know the name of that song.... but ugh! the lyrics and the music both get to me. Just because you put the word "Christmas" into a song does not instantly make it a Christmas classic... it's a heart-break song disguised as a Christmas song that the radio loves to play about 5,000 times a day.

Sorry... venting moment there. I think I wouldn't mind the song as much if they didn't play it as often.

This is one of the most overplayed Christmas songs of all time! And I totally agree with you that it's not really a Christmas song--you could insert any day of the year into the lyrics because it's just about a guy getting his heart broken.

The exception being Fairytale of New York - I could listen to that song all year :)

Yes, especially the crappy renditions by contemporary artists. Enough already!!! My husband's so fed up with it that we aren't "allowed" to listen to Christmas music (or watch Christmas movies, for that matter) when he's home until a week before Christmas!

Can I just say that I truly despise Michael Bublé and his "happy bubbly" music? It's just arrrgh, it's arsenic to my ears.
