There was another Glory Of Love song thats been around for years. Ive got a 1970's recording of it by Alberta Hunter. Its a nice song.

Youve got to give a little
Take a little
And always have the blues a little
Thats the story of
Thats the glory of love.

Youve got to laugh a little
Cry a little
And let the clouds roll by a little
Thats the story of
Thats the glory of love.

As long as theres the two of us
Weve got the world and all its charms
And when the world is through with us
Weve got each others arms

I dont remember the last verse, but its a nice little old standard.
The missing bit ..
You've got to give a little, take a little,
And let your poor heart break a little.
That's the story of, that's the glory of love.
We fade away, but vivid in our eyes
A world is born again that never dies.

Thanks, Fran. I always liked that song. When I was a kid my parents had a 78 RPM record of it by Rudy Vallee.

I like a lot of different love songs and they invoke the same emotion, but right now it's 'Kiss Cam' by Arkells.

One I just heard I always liked, I Cant Give You Anything But Love by various artists. The version I have is by W. Lee ODaniel and his Hillbilly Boys, a western swing version.
