After Youve Gone by Various. It was done by everyone from Red Nichols to Stuff Smith to The Famous Castle Jazz Band.

Stay by HURTS
My whole life waiting for the right time
To tell you how I feel.
Know I try to tell you that I need you.
Here I am without you.
I feel so lost but what can I do?
'Cause I know this love seems real
But I don't know how to feel.

We say goodbye in the pouring rain
And I break down as you walk away.
Stay, stay.
'Cause all my life I've felt this way
But I could never find the words to say
Stay, stay.

Alright, everything is alright
Since you came along
And before you
I had nowhere to run to
Nothing to hold on to
I came so close to giving it up.
And I wonder if you know
How it feels to let you go?

You say goodbye in the pouring rain
And I break down as you walk away.
Stay, stay.
'Cause all my life I've felt this way
But I could never find the words to say
Stay, stay.

So change your mind
And say you're mine.
Don't leave tonight
Stay.

Say goodbye in the pouring rain
And I break down as you walk away.
Stay, stay.
'Cause all my life I've felt this way
But I could never find the words to say
Stay, stay.

Stay with me, stay with me,
Stay with me, stay with me,
Stay, stay, stay, stay with me.

Recently when Ed Sheeran released "Thinking Out Loud" I knew it was going to be one of my favourite love songs, but I have to say my all time favourite love song is "For The First Time" by The Script. The Script are an amazing band I defiantly recommend them.

I hate absolutely HATE love songs. I guess my favorite would be Die Alone by Eminem but to me its not a love song talking about the joys of love but the actual feeling of love. if love feels like butterflies, its not love.

Ed Sheeran is pretty amazing - I love "Kiss Me" and so many of his songs. Thinking Out Loud is great.

"Glory Of Love"

Tonight it's very clear
'Cause we're both lying here
There's so many things I wanna say
I will always love you
I would never leave you alone

Sometimes I just forget
Say things I might regret
It breaks my heart to see you crying
I don't wanna lose you
I could never make it alone

I am a man who will fight for your honor
I'll be the hero you're dreaming of
We'll live forever
Knowing together
That we did it all for the glory of love

You keep me standing tall
You help me through it all
I'm always strong when you're beside me
I have always needed you
I could never make it alone

I am the man who will fight for your honor
I'll be the hero
You've been dreaming of
We'll live forever
Knowing together that we did it all
For the glory of love

It's like a knight in shining armor
From a long time ago
Just in time I will save the day
Take you to my castle far away

I am the man who will fight for your honor
I'll be the hero that your dreaming of
We're gonna live for ever
Knowing together
That we did it all for the glory of love

We'll live forever
Knowing together
That we did it all for the glory of love
We did it all for love

By: Peter Cetera and I first heard it when The Karate Kid first came out. It has been my favorite love song of all time and forever! :-)

Ray Charles was classic, thats for sure.

There was another Glory Of Love song thats been around for years. Ive got a 1970's recording of it by Alberta Hunter. Its a nice song.

Youve got to give a little
Take a little
And always have the blues a little
Thats the story of
Thats the glory of love.

Youve got to laugh a little
Cry a little
And let the clouds roll by a little
Thats the story of
Thats the glory of love.

As long as theres the two of us
Weve got the world and all its charms
And when the world is through with us
Weve got each others arms

I dont remember the last verse, but its a nice little old standard.
