I mostly listen to a lot of rap to be honest. There is great wisdom in some of the lyrics. I have to say that I think Tupac Shakir was the greatest rapper of all time and my second greatest is Eminem

This is a hard question and I can't narrow it down to one. Some on my list of the best (in no order) are:
The old Lil Wayne
Kendrick Lamar
Childish Gambino
Jay z
Eminem

Eminem's rhymes and speed are definitely impressive. I prefer Snoop Dogg though back in the 90's.

Eminem mostly because his rap is his storyline and life turned into functional words that flow together with a pop!

Nicki Minaj, especially for me, especially right now. She's so inspiring and so talented. Not only is her music great, Nicki is my idol.

I think its gotta be either Eminem or MF Doom. Slim shady is unmatched when it comes to his lyricism but more often than not, the content of his work is quite off-putting. He has a very violent and disturbed mentality in his early years and there are many reasons for this. I prefer MF Doom because of the sheer talent he uses to express current world problems and questions that plague the souls of almost every human. His metaphors are incredible. His music is the kind of stuff that makes you rewind the track again again before you fully grasp the whole concept.

Kendrick Lamar is amazing. I think he is one of the best rappers of our day. Both of his two albums have been complete game-changers in the hip hop industry. He incorporates elements of funk, jazz, gospel, and soul in his music so artistically and expertly.

I'm older so I view rappers a little differently. CRS1 (Chris from BDP), Chuck D (Public Enemy), Rakim (Eric B & Rakim), Eminem ( his deeper music) and Tupac.
