I tried to play the violin... I think it was defective...

I'd like to hear all of you play... It's nice to read the comments of post buddies who love music enough to make it for themselves. I think I love it TOO much...     I'm proud for all of you. :D

I've been playing drums for 15 years now. I've dabbled in a few other instruments over the years but drums are the only instrument I can really play.

My main instrument is electric bass guitar but I can also hang on guitar, drums and a bit of keys. Playing music is crucial for me and is the main reason I don't read more often than I do!

I have been playing the violin for awhile now and have never regretted taking it up. It was hard at first, but it pays (or plays, I should say) off over time as muscle memory is developed. I also play piano poorly, mostly because I never practice...it is the fault in us all... ;D

In descending order of skill: guitar, ukulele, piano, bass, drums. I also sing in a couple choirs. I love performing, but most of the time I just sit in my room and play quietly so no one else hears.

I played the recorder for a very long time and am still very attached to it. I played the clarinet for a little while, I didn't continue with it but I certainly enjoyed it.

Mostly recently, I took flute lessons for a few years but paused once I started A levels. I'd like to resume them at some point in the near future - and I've also always wanted to play the piano so I hope that I can take lessons for that at some point too.

I play the mandolin, a little keyboard/Piano background harmonica in our church band. I play with my hubby who plays banjo, guitar, accordion and harmonica.

I used to take piano lessons when I was younger but never really had a chance to practice much. I can play by ear and read music,

Its working OK now. I plunk on a banjo some. I used to play guitar and ukelele but Arthur has gotten hold of my fingers and I dont play much anymore. Besides that, a few years ago I got into a fight with a Skil-saw and it won, kind of made a mess of my fingers, I cant hold a pick.

I started playing the bass guitar a few months back. I also enjoy singing, but that doesn't mean I'm any good at vocals.

I used to play alto sax and mellaphone. Now I just sing but I still have my sax, never know when you might feel the need to jam.
