I play the guitar and love to sing. My voice is definitely my best instrument! I can play a little harmonica. I have a banjo but have yet to really learn to play it. I have a violin as well but haven't learned to play it either. I used to play and sing every day when I was in college, but as an adult with two jobs and a house and family to take care of I have gotten away from this practice. I miss it though. Music feeds the soul...I am starving!!musiclover182013 wrote:Obviously, we all like to read, but I have another hobby of performing on my instruments. I personally play flute, guitar, sing, and occasionally play piano and percussion. What instruments do all of you play? Also, do you do it just in the comfort of your home or do you perform otherwise?

You sound like a very musically inclined individual. I have always been fond of percussion and would love to learn it one day. I hope you continue on with it.
As for me, however, I enjoy dabbling in the guitar. I am still somewhat new to it, but music is such a passion for me I cannot wait to master it. And if you can call what I do singing, then I too enjoy that. While I can play my guitar out in the open freely, I will admit to being a bit shy when it comes to singing openly. I am sure I will get past it one day though.
