"I Know You Care" by Ellie Goulding. It was the ending theme from the movie "Now Is Good" starring Dakota Fanning. I'm close to someone going through a similar condition Dakota's character went through in the movie, and the lyrics of the song are heart-achingly beautiful and accurate.

"Ronan" by Taylor Swift. She wrote it for a very young boy who passed away from cancer after reading his mother's blog. I believe she's only performed the song live on television once for Stand Up To Cancer.
