''So if you really love me, say yes
But if you don't, dear, confess
And please don't tell me
Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps''
I love this song and lyrics are just perfect.
At first I wrote it but then I realized I wrote it wrong :/

"Light a fire, a fire, a spark
Light a fire, a flame in my heart.
We'll run wild,
We'll be glowing in the dark."

Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys is, in my opinion, the best lyricist out there right now. At the VERY least the best in the alt/indie sphere. One of my favorites: "The day after you stole my heart, everything I touched told me it would be better shared with you."

My current favorite line of poetry is:

"Day
when the almond does not
blossom and the grasshopper drags itself along

But if you can make a star from nothing You can raise me up"

From the poem The First Supper by Franz Wright

From George Quasha's "Words Under Pressure Bleed Original Sense"

"Words may drop passing color yet seeing you here
now are born again, and again.
Closing a word in the mouth feels the sound until the
tongue can't stay still"

I have many... so many
But one of my favorites is my currant signature.

So why care for these petty obsessions? Your designer heart still beats with common blood! And what if you could have genetic perfection, would you change who you are, if you could?

A ton for sure, but Tom Waits still has one of my favorite lines. Well, a few lines, but one that stands out is "tell me how do the angels get to sleep when the devil leaves the porch light on?"

I have a couple, Poe, and Cat Stevens. I find this quote by Poe to be very true and I just love Cat Stevens lyrics.

“I was never really insane except upon occasions when my heart was touched.”
― Edgar Allan Poe

Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world
It's hard to get by just upon a smile
Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world
I'll always remember you like a child, girl
Cat Stevens
“There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.”
― Ernest Hemingway

Love Cat Stevens!

There's so much you need to learn."

While the ice gives way under my feet
And so I drown with the sun
