"So you found a girl
Who thinks really deep thougts
What's so amazing about really deep thoughts
Boy you best pray that I bleed real soon
How's that thought for you"
Silent All These Years by Tori Amos

One of my favorite lines by her. I love the way it sorta take what the guys reason for leaving is and smacks him in the face with it.

"I go from day to day
I know where the cupboards are
I know where the car is parked
I know he isn't you"
Hey Jupiter (Dakota Mix) by Tori Amos

This line is my all time favorite by her. She has finally met a new man after having lost the one she loves the most and in these lines she is telling that lost love that everything in her life is the same, except that she still loves him more than she could ever love this new man.

Least that's my opinion. :)

A lyric that has always stayed with me is from a P!NK song called Crystal Ball.

"I'm learning to be brave in my beautiful mistakes."

I went through a lot of sh*t with myself, a lot of problems and this lyric showed me that the mistakes I made are beautiful because I'd made them and learnt from them and I should never be ashamed of them, and yes, I'm still constantly learning from them.

To be, or not to be: that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, :D :D :D

“Whereas story is processed in the mind in a straightforward manner, poetry bypasses rational thought and goes straight to the limbic system and lights it up like a brushfire. It's the crack cocaine of the literary world.”
― Jasper Fforde, First Among Sequels.

"She was a sexy thong-wearing witch and I wish I never met that bitch.
She preyed on my heart and soul and I like to think she didn't know.
But she was never really mine but I'd love to f*ck her just one more time.
Guess that's the price of being in love."

"You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill;
I will choose a path that's clear
I will choose freewill."

'Drag my teeth across your chest and taste your beating heart'
-Florence and the Machine

'She's got hips like Cinderella'
-Pixies

'Now I know how Joan of Arc felt
As the flames rose to her roman nose
And her Walkman started to melt '
-The Smiths

'red patent leather, very "i'm in a band"'
-Sonic Youth

I found it much too difficult to pick just one.

But still she keeps on sellin that stuff
