Wow, Grease. Thats one of the best.

A real oldie was the 1916 theatre composition for Birth Of A Nation. Great three and a half hour non-stop musical score. In some of the bigger theatres the film was accompanied with a full orchestra.

I heard one a while back, a modern soundtrack for the silent movie The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Weird eerie creepy music done by I think what they call a chamber music group. A violin, viola, instruments like that. The kind of music to read horror stories by.

It is. Kind of gives you chills to listen to it. I think I have the movie on tape, Ill have to check it out and get more info on it.

From a musical, I would probably go for The Sound of Music. My favourite score would probably be The Imperial March from Star Wars and my favourite soundtrack would have to be either Gladiator or the BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice (with Colin Firth).

Recent movie score that was just awesome was from The Hobbit. Very excellent throughout the film.

I caught The Music Man on TV the other night. A few songs are good, most are forgettable, and the choreography is amateurish and a bit bizarre.

Funny show. Ive got the Roger Corman original, its pretty good too. Especially Jack Nicholson's performance as the dentists patient. I think it was his first movie.

I saw a movie a while back, The Pride Of Jesse Hallum with Johnny Cash. He did a couple pretty good songs.
