I just thought of the music from the Busby Berkley movies. Footlight Parade. Golddiggers Of 1933, 42nd Street and Dames.
Out of this world dance numbers and great classic music.

@NathardNathrad Sheare wrote:Hey, I know who all these people are! I'll use a quote from Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice." Speaking of myself, I never have met "so young a body with so old a head." Yup, I was raised on classic movies, classic books, and classic songs. Now I'm on a mission to build the largest classical music collection in the world... Yup, old head... My mom says I was born 70, and more evidence of that surfaces every day... I'm even considering dance lessons... I love the ballroom style and want to try my feet at it. Believe me, the great music, the great art, the great books, and good old Hollywood glam aren't just an old person's thing! Bette Davis, Judy Dench, Faye Dunaway, and Maggie Smith are my top four actresses, and Barbara Stanwyck was great, too! Love their movies, and some of them have amazing soundtracks. I'm enjoying the new series starring Maggie Smith, Downton Abbey. Great soundtrack, great acting, great story. Seen it?
suzy has a topic running on Downton - it's one of her favourite subjects.
