I discovered Mumford and Sons when they did the tribute to Levon Helm, they even look like the early Band, excellent music!

Meanwhile my kid was playing another mix tape, "The Safety Dance"....ah the dance, the safety dance, ah take the chance...followed by "Can't Touch This"

Ive been listening to some Slim Whitman. Its been a while since I heard his stuff, he had an awesome voice. At one time he sold more records than Elvis in Europe. When I was in Japan in 1957 he was on every jukebox, very popular among the ladies.

I've been immersed in Anna Netrebko's La Boheme with Rolando Villazon for a couple of days now. The full cast waltz at the end of Act II, one of the most famous numbers in the opera, is one of those melodies I can't get out of my head once I start thinking about it, and I certainly don't mind! Netrebko and Villazon are IDEAL together! The romance is intense, and I'm sure the tragedy of the finale will be, too, once I get to it. I just finished Act III the night before last... I can't wait to reach the end! Netrebko's arias are SPLENDID and Villazon has some of the hottest fire I've ever heard in a tenor. Just fantastic stuff! Even better than their Salzburg La Traviata, which I thought would be much harder for them to top!
Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things that escape those who only dream at night.

I never have just one single favorite song. Ones I've been gravitating to lately include; What you wanted - One Republic, The Beginning is the End is the Beginning - Smashing Pumpkins and 3 Libras - A Perfect Circle.

At this very moment, hands down, Pharrell's "Happy!" I cannot sit still when I hear that song. If I'm having an awful day, as soon as I hear that song, I'm feeling great. Someone should pump that music throughout my office complex. ahahahaaaaa
