There’s too many to mention when it comes to a favorite song. I love rock and alternative songs, and my all-time favorite was “Best I am” by Flaw. As of now, I can’t stop myself from listening to Pentatonix’s cover of Hallelujah. This is not my type of genre, but the artists singing with their incredible harmonies were just stunning.

The Night We Met by Lord Huron

I fell in love with this song after watching Thirteen Reasons Why.

I usually can't ever say that I have a "fav" when it comes to music because I feel that music is one of those things that can change your entire mood and visa versa if it is good enough. However, one song that is resonating with me right now for several reasons is "Better Man" by Little Big Town. My husband and I are going through a very emotional separation and I feel VERY in sync with the lyrics. I know that he was not a good husband to me and that I am and will be much better off without the heartbreak that loving him brought into my life on a daily basis. However, at night when I am in our bed and I am alone, I slip back into the past when he was my everything and I thought that we were going to spend forever with one another. I wish he could have been a better man and husband to me, because I know without a doubt that if he had of loved me the way I deserved to be loved that I would never ever have turned away from him. Ironically, the day that Little Big Town debuted their song was the same day that I packed my bags and left him. I still am unable to hear that song and not feel the physical pain within my heart and chest area.
