At the moment my favorite song is HAPPY. This is how I want to be all the time, even when things are hard and life is tough. Thanks Pharrell.

The Bells of St. Marys. The version I have is the seven minute long one by the Paul Whiteman Orchestra. Bing Crosby also did a killer version.

Thats a blast from the past. 1959 or 60 that came out. I was working nights in a gas station when I first heard it.

Funny isn't it how certain songs evoke certain memories /events that we were experiencing at the time............do you remember Volare?...

( if you're reading DATo, I know it's your fave too )

I had fallen madly in love w/this boy and could hardly concentrate on my job...at the time Volare was a huge hit playing EVERYWHERE...

I remember Volare. I dont know why, but every time I heard it it reminded me of some guy getting the crap beat out of him behind a bar. Strange.

Kansas City by Wilburt Harrison was popular around that time, too.
