Take Me Away From Night (feedback welcomed)

Its late the time when romance blooms
As close as that orbital moon,
Picked out of the sky
By fingertips pressed high
Directly to the night sky.
But just like the falsehood of the moon
Is the dreams I had for you
Although during light you seemed like dream.
In the times were sunlight fades
Came the falsehoods that were you.
The romance that you willingly gave
Went out like the sun on an eclipse day.
The truth was that you disguised well
Enough so that I couldn't tell,
And it wasn't till the rings came on
That eye lingering stars began to fall.
And just like night with secrets held
You became someone else instead.
A being like the darkness holds
A savage beast with no control
So now I dream of sunlight days
For rays to fall to take my pain
For although night brings romances gifts
The darkness held not worth the pain.
Any book that helps a child to form a habit of reading, to make reading one of his deep and continuing needs, is good for him.
