What's your favourite poetry book?

This is the place for readers of poetry. Discuss poetry and literary art. You can also discuss music here, including lyrics. Also, you can discuss poets themselves, in addition to poetry.

I have loved reading the "Favorite Poem Project" books of poetry. I loved that they were by the every-man, and not from famous published authors.

Hmmm...my favorites include poetry I can relate to. Or a line that gives me a new perspective about life in general.
Just downloaded some new poems on my Nook by Autumn Bremsley: Pocket Full of Poetry, not bad.
I also like The Road Less Traveled by Robert Frost.

I actually have a favorite poetry book series, they're by Ellen Hopkins. They are absolutely amazing!! The titles are: Crank, Glass, Burned, Impulse, Identical, Tricks, and her two most recent (that I have not read yet) Fallout, and Perfect.

My favorites books, if we are talking collections, are Eavan Boland's An Origin Like Water and Shinji Moon's new book, The Anatomy of Being. Also, anything by Yeats or Neruda.

I have two: both of them are books of English poetry printed around the 1920s. Shakespeare, Elliot, Browning, Tennyson..Between these two books, I pretty much have them all! :)
"We have to fight for our place in this world. To be equal with a man, one must be so much better, so much more clever."- From the Silk Vendetta by Victoria Holt.

Walt Whitman's Song of Myself, especially on a cool day when the sun is shinning through the windows.
