So difficult ... I don't think I could pick just one. 'We've Only Just Begun' by The Carpenters is definitely a favourite. 'Something' by The Beatles. 'If' by Bread.

I could go on but I'd be here all day :)

A couple old favorites of mine are When Your Lover Has Gone and Someone To Watch Over Me by Eddie Condon's Dixieland All-Stars.

What about "Little Things Mean a Lot" - has it been mentioned?

I heard a nice little tune to slow dance to, Dancing In The Dark by Earl Bostic.

I would say, it's "Let Me Be the One" by Jimmy Bondoc. It's about a guy who voluntarily let go of the woman he loves because he really feels that the woman does not love him anymore. Oh wait! I forgot. This is not a love song. This is a break up song. Anyways, I like it very much. Another thing, this song was written by the singer for his real-life ex-girlfriend :D

That reminds me of Hoagy Carmichael's Stardust. He wrote it about his girlfriend after she dumped him. He did a moving recitation of it in 1962 I believe it was.

I heard a nice little song earlier called Blackbird by the Rockabilly Rockets. Nice slow vocal with great backup band. The lyrics are pretty true to life.

I really like Keeper of the Stars by Travis Tritt and Taylor Swift's Love Story, but it's hard to pick. I love a lot of different ones.
