Sarah Clay, I agree. The author did a nice job of fleshing out the characters, but not overdoing it. Since there were many characters, it would have dragged the storyline if he told too much about each character.Sarah Clay wrote:I read a sample of this book and enjoyed it. I like how Pelagatti told not too much about the characters, but not too little. It's a good balance of everything.

Thanks! I think you will enjoy the book.BookQuest wrote:When I saw the title I thought exactly what the reviewer said people would think-- a chick flick book. But now that I'm finished with the review I'm excited to read it. I've never read a crime book, but this sounds interesting, and just the mention of how much depravity the characters depicted was enough to make me read it. I'm a sucker for dark and intriguing characters.

True! I was thinking exactly the same thing when I first saw the title of the book.bookowlie wrote:Ha ha, very clever! Seriously, I wish the book had a different title so that it would attract a wider group of readers. The existing title makes me think of all of those Real Housewives reality shows.....trash TV. The story is actually a riveting crime story based on a true murder conspiracy. I think men would love this book as much as women.
